A horse undefeated in Australia and two hometown hopes headline the harness racing field for Sunday’s inaugural $10,200 Coo-ee Motel Gilgandra Cup.
The Amanda Turnbull-trained Mrs Browns Boy, undefeated in eight starts since moving across from New Zealand, will go from gate three while Brett Pay’s Suncreen will be next door at gate four while Barry Lew’s Karloo Threeothree is set to go from gate seven.
As well as the Gilgandra Cup, there will be plenty of interest around the Creenaune Family Three Year Old Silver Jug and the 3D Butchery Gilgandra Windmill Final.
Each of the races at the meeting are sponsored by Gilgandra businesses and entry on Sunday is a donation towards the town’s cancer fundraisers.
Racing starts at 1.18pm with the Cup feature the fifth on the card at 3.49pm.
