September 26, 2015 – Global Money (8g Love You-Norwegian Beauty-Yankee Glide) and harness racing trainer/driver Robert Bergh took today’s 2140 meter autostart Frances Bulwarks at Solvalla with 250,000SEK to the first place finisher.
The winner, owned by Stall Lars Vegard, rallied stoutly to score clocked in 1.11.6kr over Vasterbo Highflyer (7g Look de Star-Vasterbo Highclass-Pine Chip) in rein to trainer Daniel Reden for Stall Zet. Ringostarr Treb (5m Classic Photo-Farsalo Egral-Supergill) hugged the pegs to land third for Wim Pall, trainer Holger Ehlert and Scuderia Scarton Stable. Beau Mec was fourth for trainer Bergh and teamster Torbjorn Jansson. Favorite Knows Nothing set the pace for Ulf Ohlsson before weakening in the last bend. Fractions were well rated (1.09.8kr after 500 meters; 1.13.2kr at 1000; 1.12.2kr at 1500 and home in a quick 1.11.6kr).
The scratch of the fast Delicious from the Giant Diablo (200,000SEK to the winner, 1640 meters autostart) left the door open for well-regarded winner Youana (6f Pearsall Hanover-Euro Sund-Sugarcane Hanover) that scored gate to wire clocked in 1.11.7kr for Erik Adielsson. Stall Fagerhult owns Youana. Talk The Talk (5f Donato Hanover-Letsjusttalkaboutme-Self Possessed) ended second for trainer/driver/owner Stefan Melander with Fleetfoot Hanover (8f Andover Hall-Firefly Annie-SJ’s Photo). Co-favorite Eketorpets Tess made an early miscue for disqualification.
The John Deere Klass II Final (2140 meters autostart, 200,000SEK to winner) was also a solid event with this victory going to Ochongo Face (4g Kiss Francis-Jubel Kemp-Joie de Vie) handled by trainer Erik Lindegren. He was timed in 1.12.6kr to defeat Space Photo (7g Fast Photo-Lady Toscana-Peace On Earth) and Make It Quick (4g Make It Happen-Indian Quick DK-Carmody Lobell). Serious Try, a recent winner of a Derby elimination, closed well for fourth from post 11.
