Exciting stallion Pet Rock is heading 'Down Under'

With the new season upon us, harness racing breeders have at least two reasons to be excited thanks to Global Stallion Management.

The popular group has secured top prospects for Australasian breeders, which are destined to be well patronised.

Thanks to the hard work and vision of Global’s Scott Robertson and Gary Donaldson, champion pacer Pet Rock and world champion trotter Dejarmbro are heading ‘Down Under’.

A royally-bred son of Rocknroll Hanover, Pet Rock’s maternal line includes the likes of Artsplace, Cam Fella and Albatross.

A relentless pacer, which earned the nickname of ‘The Crusher’, Pet Rock coupled blistering speed with a seemingly endless supply of stamina.

Boasting a world record 1.47 on a 5/8-mile track, the stallion also registered a world record of 1.48.1 on a half-mile circuit.

Often complimented for his “flawless gait”, Pet Rock will stand at the well-known Yirribee Stud in New South Wales, with interstate mares eligible for the lucrative NSW Breeders’ Challenge as well as their local futurities.

In one of the best cropS of the modern era, Dejarmbro was a standout as he established several milestones, including a world record at three.

From the Donerail mare Armbro Déjà Vu, Dejarmbro belongs to one America’s premier trotting families, which is littered with superstar performers and is closely-related to Monarchy, making him an attractive cross.

A magnificent looking stallion, Dejarmbro was fully booked in America, with his ‘card’ – via frozen semen - expected to fill quickly in the Southern Hemisphere as well.

Pet Rock and Dejarmbro will join Global Stallion Management’s established line-up consisting of Angus Hall, BG’s Folly, Julius Caesar, Lawman and Stonebridge Regal.

Global can be contacted via Robertson on 0400 331 386, Donaldson 0427 004 662 or Greg Ryan 0419 791 434
