Pan From Nantucket won his second consecutive try in the local open pace at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. Jose Godinez trains the four year old pacer who is only 49 races into his harness racing career but has already become an open force.

Bruce Aldrich Jr. sat patiently with Pan From Nantucket (No Pan Intended) before fanning him three wide heading to the three quarter pole.

Pan From Nantucket, who owns the fastest win time of the year thus far at Saratoga (1:51.4 on May 19), scored in 1:52.4 on Saturday night. It was his seventh consecutive start in the money.

Whogoesfirst (Stephane Bouchard) charged hard for second in the $19,795 nine horse open while Lahaye (Billy Dobson) held on for third.

The Godinez-Aldrich tandem also teamed up with a winner in the evening’s $15,000 claiming pace with Play Of The Day.

Live racing continues on Sunday afternoon with a matinee set to begin at 12:45pm.
