Reinsman Russell Foster sent Goo Doo Doll (GooGoo GaaGaa) to the engine in the perfectly rated gate to wire mile. Every quarter registered 29.4 seconds, lowering the stakes record by a full second in the 1:59.1 mile a full 20¼ lengths ahead of Lookie lookie (Lockeeper). Owner Frank Canzone recently purchased Goo Doo Doll and Edwin Gannon Jr. is the new trainer. Richard Hans is the breeder.
The $20,375 race for the pacing colts went to post as race five.
Carrythetorchman (American Ideal), with Atlee Bender between the wheels scored the victory in the 1:56 mile, pacing his last quarter in 27.4 on the half mile oval. Erv Miller trains for owners Ronald Michelon and War Horse Stables, Winbak Farm is the breeder. KO Master (Rusty's For Real) finished second.
