Goshen Historic Track is seeking a General Manager. Applicants should have a background in or extensive knowledge of harness racing. The successful candidate will be expected to both manage and assist in marketing the property. This involves supervising staff, interacting with tenants, communicating with a Board of Directors, dealing with local government and support fund-raising.
Additionally the General Manager must have a background in business and should have excellent people and commutative skills.
The position will require dealing with a number of independent contractors. Also operate heavy equipment: tractors, graders and various trucks as well as being able to maintain the same.
Equine enthusiasts and trainers with significant business experience are encouraged to apply, as stalls are available for the right candidate.
