Novisad (7m Lejacque d’houlbec-Furlana) reined by Gert Sucact won today’s Gr. II International UET Masters Series Gran Prix Stad Warehem by Gea Happel for a €60,000 purse at Belgium’s historic Hippodrome Waregem.

The Italian bred trotter scored at 71.4/1 odds covering the 2960 meter distance in 1.17.11kr for his ninth career victory. Two entrants handicapped 25 meters were second (Quiz de Ginei) and third (Deuxiene Picsos, Swedish invader with Robin Bakker driving for trainer/owner Johan Lejon).

On September 1st at Farjestad the featured Diamantstoet for 100,000SEK to the winner went to Quatanamera (5f From Above-Try Out-Piggvar) and teamster Eric Berglof. The winner scored in 1.13.7kr over the 2140 meters turning start course.

Quantanamera won for the sixth time in 41 starts. On the same card the Jerry Riordan trained, Lisa Riordan owned, Linda Allercrantz reined Radysin America (4f Donato Hanover-Zagabria Dei-Victory Dream) advanced to victory in 1.14.7kr over 2140 meters autostart.

Radysin, a half-sister to Lisa America, earned 50,000SEK for her eighth win in 19 career starts, the last three straight and four wins in her last six outings with two second place finishes.
