Cleangame (7g Ouragon du Celland-Red Bell) took today’s 42nd edition of the Grand Prix du Sud-Ouest (purse 150,000€, 2750 meters autostart) held at Toulouse La Cepiere in France.

Trainer Jean Michel Bazire teamed the 3/10 favorite to his 28th career victory in 45 starts now for 1,050,870€ earned. In winning this Gr. II UET Masters Series 2019 event. 

Cleangame has replaced the late stablemate Aubrion du Gers as Bazire’s top trotteur. He is owned by J-M Rancoule and was bred by Alain Louis Beaumont. Today Cleangame raced in the death seat for much of the journey before moving to the lead off the final bend.

He bested 11/1 Balbir (8g Ganymede-Manzir( with Mickael Cormy the driver/trainer and third finishing 16/1 Bilooka du Boscail (8f Look de Star-Mirza di Vicie) with Yves Hurel aboard. Before today Cleangame was not among the UET Masters top 25 point winners.
