The Gr. I, 200,000e Criterium des Jeunes highlighted Saturday's graded laden card at Paris-Vincennes.

14 contestants traveled 2700 meters in this test for three year-olds. Disqualification of Philippe Allaire's Brillantisime led to victory being awarded to Billie de Montfort handled by Eric Raffin for trainer Sebastien Guarato.

The consistent daughter of Jasmin de Flore from an And Arifant dam recorded her sixth lifetime win now for earnings of 247,200e. She scored in 1.14.4kr over Brutus de Bailly and J-M Bazire with third to Black d'Avril and Franck Ouvrie. The winner's sire Jasmin de Flore shows up more regularly in graded events in France, as previously reported, and for good reason.

The son of Vivier de Montfort-Etoile du Pasteret-Mon Tourbillon, was a graded race winner at ages three through five including the Prix Jacques Vauloge, Criterium des 4 ans, Prix de Milan, Prix de Selection and Criterium des 5 ans. His pedigree is 83% French "trotteur", 17% Standardbred, with a 4% inbreeding coefficient, a sire to watch for in 2014 racing wars.
