Four graded events took place today at Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes as afternoon racing returned to the “Temple of Trot”.

The Prix de Jockey (2700 meters, Gr. II 120,000 euro purse) for five year-olds was won by Un Mec d’Heripre (5m Orlando Vici-I Love You Darling-Buvetier d’Aunou) with J-M Bazire aboard. The 9/10 favorite scored in 1.13.7kr over the grande piste for trainer Fabrice Souloy. The 12 time career winner now has earnings of over 598.000 euro. Univers de Pan finished second.

The Prix Guy Deloisin for three year-old fillies (2175 meters, 120,000 euro purse, Gr. II) produced a  1.12.7kr win for second wagering choice Avila (3f Ready Cash-Encombenineuse-Workaholic) with Thierry Duvaldestin teaming. He also trains this one. The powerful filly scored easily over another Ready Cash filly, favorite Axelle Dark (3f Ready Cash-Queen des Charmes-Look de Star), handled by Joseph Verbeeck for trainer/owner Phillipe Allaire, also owner of Ready Cash. Axelle Dark was shuffled back mid-race and was free late to rally for second.

The next graded event was the Gr II monte Prix Herve Ceran-Maillard (2175 meters, 120,000 euro purse) that went to 8/1 outsider Unikaranes (5f Montecatini-Pivoine des Hayes-Go Lucky) in 1.12.1kr for Alexandre Abrivard. Trained by L.C. Abrivard, the winner convincingly scored over Udayama (5f Echo-Lancia du Pont-Le Loir) and Gaetan Prat.  Unikaranes now has career earnings in excess of 288,000 euros.

The Gr. II Prix Pierre Plazen (2175 meters, purse 120,000 euro, three year-old males) resulted in a victory for 4/1 Ausone du Kastel (3m Gros Grain-Lancee-Courlis du Pont) with Emmanuel Allard driving. He scored in 1.13.7kr for his fifth career win and earnings of 107,000 euro. Alberic was second for Franck Nivard.

Good older trotters battled in the Prix de Beaune (2700 meters for 55,000 euro) with veteran Global Money (6g Love You-Norwegian Beauty-Yankee Glide) the winner for Hugo Langeweg Jr. in 1.12.8kr. The win was number 21 in the career of the Sweden registered winner, off at 27/1 in this contest. Sam Gibus finished second for Sebastien Ernault.
