Hippodrome Lyon la Soie in France hosted two excellent trotting events today. Trainer/driver Jean-Etienne Dubois reined Used To Me, a six year-old son of Nuage du Lait) to a narrow rallying between horses victory in the 100,000e Grand Prix de Centre-Est., a Gr. III International contest over 3250 meters.

He scored at 35/1 odds over Sweden's Global Manhattan (Love You-Devilish Yankee) with Pierre Vercruysse up for trainer Fabrice Souloy. The top field included favored Beckman that finished sixth and seventh ending Quarlos. The winner was timed in 1.15.3kr over the marathon distance as he recorded his seventh career win now for earnings of 423,760e.

The co-featured 35,000s european Prix de Strasbourg, the Quinte+ race of the day with an 8 million euro jackpot, went to 26/1 outsider Rebel de Joux and reinsman Franck Jamard. Noel Busset trains the winner that scored for the 14th time, increasing his career earnings to 266,570 eruos. The top five finishers in this event were off at odds of 26, 18, 11, 125, and 15/1, respectively, causing an exact order payoff, excluding jackpot, of over 337,000e for a wager of just 2 euros.
