Groupe action began Saturday at Paris-Vincennes with the Prix Camille Lepecq (Gr. II monte, purse 120,000 euro, 2175 meters, eight starters).

The 1.109kr timed victory went to 2/5 favorite Arlington Dream (8g Ready Cash-Ialla Clairchamp) with Yoann Lebourgeois in the irons for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Frederic Sauque.

This superb monte performer now has 21 career victories in 68 starts for 1,006,200 euro earned. The 11/1 Ulka des Champs (10f Offshore Dream) was second for jockey Matthieu Abrivard, with 7.3/1 Valse de Reve (9f Mister President) third for Camille Levesque. 8.9/1 and world monte speed record holder Be Mine de Houelle (7g Scipion du Goutier) was a distant third for Marie Bacsich.

Three year old males contested the Prix Victor Regis (120,000 euro purse, 215 meters, 11 starters) and the 1.12.7kr timed winner was the 3/5 favorite Fabulous Wood (3m Ready Cash-Qualita Bourbon) driven by Matthieu Abrivard for trainer Yves Boireau, owner Scuderia Winner Stable and Jean Pierre Dubois was the breeder.

Fabulous Wood now has seven wins in nine starts for career earnings of 201,990 euro earned. 21/1 outsider Fric du Chene (3m Nobody du Chene) was second for Gabriele Gelormini, trainer Julian LeMer and owner Claude Guedj. 7.7/1 Follow You (3m Ready Cash-Mara Bourbon) took third for Eric Raffin, trainer Boireau, owner Scuderia Bivan and the breeder was J.P. Dubois’ Ecurie Dream With Me.

The Gr. II Prix Uranie (purse 120,000 euro, 2175 meters, 10 starters) saw Fly With Us (3f Ready Cash-Mariane Marceaux) score timed in 1.12.9kr and off at 11/1 odds. Eric Raffin piloted the Philippe Allaire trainee that Ecurie Normandy Spirit owns.

She is now seven wins for 12 starts in the brief career with 222,200 euro earned. The 27/1 Flo Wood (3f Singalo-Tip Top Lady) rallied to be second for Matthieu Abrivard, trainer Yves Boireau and breeder/owner Jean Pierre Dubois.

The 2/5 favorite, and previously undefeated in seven starts, Fleche Bourbon (3f Saxo de Vandel-Uzara Josselyn) was third for J.Ph. Monclin, trainer Sebastien Guarato and Haras de Saint Martin. The good field saw Fend la Bise, Full Option, Fame And Fortune and Folelli next to the line in that order.

The Q+ Gr. II Prix Guy le Lonidec (purse 120,000 euro, 2700 meters, 16 starters) was the 4/5 favorite Erming d’Oliverie (4f Scipion du Goutier-Theze d’Oliverie) speed away for the 1.13.6kr victory for driver Franck Nivard, trainer Franck Leblanc and breeder/owner Ecurie de l’Oliverie.

Eclipse Danica (4f Hasting-Odysse du Ravary) was a good second at 9/1 for trainer/driver Pierre Vercruysse and owner Cte. P. de Senneville. Estelada de Font (4f Orateur) was third for Emmanuel Allard at 27/1. The 35/1 Extasy d’Ourville (4f Tucson) and 31/1 Enska (4f Coktail Jet) completed the top five, the latter owned by Ecurie Cte. P. de Montesson. The Q+ exact order payoff included a winning jackpot and returned 1,010,996.20 euro to the ticketholder.

The featured Criterium des 5 Ans (Gr. I, purse 240,000 euro, 3000 meters, 13 starters) saw even-money favorite Davidson du Pont (5m Pacha du Pont-Laguna du Pont) score timed in 1.12.5kr with trainer Jean-Michel Bazire up for Ecurie Albert Rayon, the breeder/owner.

The winner now sports nine career wins in 25 starts for 519,110 euro earned. 5.9/1 Delia du Pommereux (5f Niky) took second with Franck Nivard up for trainer Sylvain Roger and breeder/owner Noel Lolic. Detroit Castelets (5m Neoh Jiel) at 3.2/1 was third for Matthieu Abrivard and trainer J.L. Dersoir. 10/1 Django Riff (5m Ready Cash) ended fourth.

The Gr. III Prix de Beaugency (purse 105,000 euro, 2850 meters, 12 starters) saw the 1.4/1 favorite Ble du Gers (7g Quinoa du Gers-Moorea) score timed in 1.12.5kr for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire and owner Ecurie Jean Michel Rancoule.

The winner now has 15 career victories in 46 starts. Anzi des Liards (8g Look de Star) was second at 9/1 for Romain Derieux and trainer David Bekaert. The 39/1 Venosc de Minel (9g Laetenter Diem) took third for Eric Raffin ahead of Tony Gio (6m Varenne) and 3/1 Traders (6m Ready Cash).

The final groupe test of the day was the Prix Jules Thibault (Gr. II, 120,000 euro purse, 2700 meters, eight starters) and the 4.2/1 odds Enino du Pommereux (4m Coktail Jet-Noune du Pommereux) scored timed in 1.13.5kr. J-M Bazire teamed the Sylvain Roger trained and Noel Lolic owned stallion.

The 5.4/1 Express Jet (4m Goetmals Wood-Run For Jet) rallied for second handled by trainer Pierre Vercruysse, with third to the 7/10 favorite Earl Simon (4m Prodigious-Tindrana) driven by Franck Ouvrie for Jorma Niskanen who trains for owner Ecurie Skytten.

At Jagersro today was the Birger Bengtssons Minne 2018 (200,000SEKK to the winner, 1640 meters autostart, eight starters) and veteran Dante Boko (8g Going Kronos-Margharita Roda-Abo Volo) prevailed at 2.3/1 odds for driver Adrian Kolgjini, Stall Be The Best and trainer Lutfi Kolgjini.

This first 2018 win was his 24th lifetime in 86 outings. Cyber Lane (5g Raja Mirchi-Sybaris Hanover-Cantab Hall) took second for Johan Untersteiner at 2/1, and third was Love Matters (5m Explosive Matter-Lotsa Love-Andover Hall) for Christoffer Eriksson and trainer Daniel Reden for Stall Zet that was off at 6.9/1 odds.

The Silver Division V75 (150,000SEK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart) saw the 8.7/1 Antonio Tabac (6m Crazed-Grace Tabac-Tap In) scored for owner/trainer/driver Oskar Kylin Blom. The winner left from post 11 and recorded his fourth win in nine 2018 starts. 9.5/1 Stepping Spaceboy (5m Dream Vacation-Stepping Space-Fast Photo) and 23.9/1 Zoko Lane (6g Zola Boko) for Thomas Uhrberg trailed the winner.

On Friday evening at Vincennes was that day’s Quinte+ in the Prix Alexandra (purse 44,000 euro, 2100 meters autostart, 16 European starters). The 1.13.5kr timed winner was the 1.6/1 odds Bip Bip de Guez (7g Jasmin de Flore-Quoumbaya de Guez) with J-M Bazire up.

He also trains for owner Ecurie Vautors. 11/1 Akir de Mai (8g Kid de Chenu) was second for Anthony Barrier with 70/1 Armada Broise (8f LeRetour) third for Marius Coignard. Royal Roc (8f Filipp Roc) was a 5.5/1 fourth for Filippo Rocca ahead of 9/1 Eldrick Boko (7m Cantab Hall-Radiant Lindy) with Matthieu Abrivard aboard. The Q+ exact order payoff was 6,510.20 euro and there was not a jackpot winning ticket.

Last Sunday (August 26) was the Danish Trotting Derby and the Steen Juul trained Chock Nock (4, SJs Photo) was victorious for driver Bjorn Goop. The son of SJs Photo scored after leaving from post 12 in the 3000 meter contest timed in 1.15.1kr to earn 605,000Dkr. Juul won this race for the second time and the sire has now produced four Derby winners. Chock Nock won for the fourth time in ten 2018 starts and now has nine career wins in 28 outings.
