The Horseplayers Association of North America's (HANA) harness racing division is pleased to announce the addition of the Illinois Harness Horsemen Association (IHHA) as a Gold Sponsor of HANA Harness' 2013 Grand Circuit Handicapping Challenge sponsored by the Hambletonian Society, Chicago Harness, IHHA, The Meadowlands, Tioga Downs, and Vernon Downs.
The contest kicks off this Friday, April 26 with the Courageous Lady at Northfield Park and is followed by the finals of the Blue Chip Matchmaker and George Morton Levy Memorial pacing series at Yonkers Raceway on Saturday night. The handicappers' selections will be available on the contest website (http://hanaharnesscontest.blogspot.com ) no later than the morning of race day.
Last But Not Least: Ray Garnett was inadvertently left off the handicapper roster last week. Ray will be competing for Lollypop Farm. Ray is a veteran handicapper, handicapping both standardbreds and thoroughbreds. Ray has participated in numerous online and track handicapping contests including winning one such at contest at Sam Houston Park
Sponsorships opportunities remain available. Racetracks, Horsemen Associations, and Breeding Farms are invited to consider becoming a silver or bronze sponsor of the handicapping challenge.
