The Eugowra Harness Racing Club has announced that the 2015 Lexus Of Parramatta Canola Cup final will be worth $30,000.
Club president Lex Crosby announced that the race will move to a new level this year and once again become the richest C0 race in Australia.
The race had been worth $20,000 over the past few years and previously had been the richest C0 but increases in other events had seen it lose 'top billing'.
It is the intention of the club to keep the Canola Cup to the forefront as the richest race for C0 horses in Australia.
The $3,000 heats will be run on Sunday September 27th and the final on Monday October 5th.
Mr. Crosby thanked all the clubs' sponsors, both large and small for their continued support in making this race day successful.
The Eugowra Club is proud of local school teacher Cath Adams who sings the National Anthem at the Canola Cup.
Cath has progressed to the second round of Channel Nine's 'The Voice' and the Club is hoping harness racing fans will give her their support as the competition progresses.
