"The pressure was starting to get to Amanda and when I spoke with her after the race I could sense the relief.
"She's got a team of horses to attend to at Dubbo on Saturday and then she will break for a well deserved holiday."
Meanwhile sits on 198 wins for the season as a trainer and is keen to join Amanda on the 200 list.
"It would be great to break 200 but if I don't get there I can still say the season is a career highlight," he said.

Eleven horses will race at Menangle and Dubbo on Saturday night for Turnbull with his best chances looking to be at the Dubbo meeting.
Smart mare Whispering Lass only has to overcome a wide draw in the second event to break through for a deserved victory. He's Magic Red has been racing consistently and looks hard to beat in race three whilst Long Cool Woman had no luck at Bankstown last start and should be a major player in race five.
At Menangle Steve's best chance looks to be the consistent My Dusky Sound who will have to overcome alley ten in race two.
