South Australia's leading trainer Aaron Brown will arrive in New South Wales later this week and is planning on staying permanently. Brown has leased a property across the road from Tabcorp Park Menangle for three years and is looking forward to the challenge of racing in Sydney.

"It is a huge decision for me to leave South Australia but racing against the best is something I have always wanted to do and it will give me a chance to race for the best prize money in Australia," Brown said.

"I have had tremendous support from my owners, I spoke with them before making the move and they are all sticking with me so at this stage I will be bringing nine horses and hopefully I can build the team up in size once I have been able to establish myself in Sydney."

The best of the horses Brown is bringing to New South Wales is talented mare Lombo Keepa Secret.

"I had twenty in South Australia but the horses coming over are the ones I think will be best suited in Sydney and a few of them are on low marks which will be a plus."

"Lombo Keepa Secret won seven in a row and actually finished second behind Frith in one race, she has had a good break and has filled out and looks unbelievable so I'm expecting her to race well."

Brown is hoping to have some horses ready to race within a month of arriving.

"I have had most of them racing in Adelaide so it should only take me a fortnight or so before I'm ready to go, I've been to Menangle before and watched plenty of racing there and one thing I have noticed is that it can take horses a run or two to get use to the long straights."

"I'm arriving a day or so before the horses so I can set a few things up, I'm really looking forward to the challenge."
