With star three year old filly Frith set to head to the paddock for a well deserved spell, trainer Bruce Harpley has confirmed that connections have explored the possibility of taking an embryo from the multiple Gr. 1 winner and transferring it to another mare to prolong the racing career of the Breeders Crown winner. With other top line mares undergoing the same procedure successfully, Harpley thinks the daughter of Four Starzzz Shark could still be racing by the time her first foal is of racing age.

"It is something that Diane and Bernie (Kelly) have been talking about and I know they have spoken with Jackie Gibson from Success Stud about it and if it is not going to worry Frith long term then I think it is a good thing," Harpley said.

"When I was told about it I thought why not, she's going out for a good spell and she is really only pregnant herself for a week or so and if it won't worry her then maybe Frith and her foal could be racing at the same time in a few years time."

Harpley was still experiencing the high of winning his first Breeders Crown as a trainer on Sunday afternoon and believes all of the praise should be for the filly's exceptional talent and never say die attitude.

"The salute on the line I stole from Chris Lang Jnr but I thought she really deserved it, I can't believe how good she is, we travelled home on Sunday night and on Monday morning she is eating, bucking, kicking and is so bright in the eyes, she is just one in a million."

"Not many three year old fillies would have copped the campaign she has had this season and I'm amazed with her recovery, she just keeps getting better and better."

Harpley is hoping he gets the opportunity to continue training Frith next season with a possibility that she may return to her original trainer Bernie Kelly.

"We've never talked about it to be honest, I hope he leaves her with me, he's had plenty of nice horses and will have plenty more I'm sure but she is my one and only champion and what she has done for me and my family has been unbelievable."
