"It is half embarrassing the way he has to be driven and I think he proved that on Saturday night that it is definitely the best way to drive him," Tritton said.
"He needs to go fast enough in the early stages to take the sting out of the sprinters at the finish, has been doing such a good job for the stable but unfortunately he has been suspended so Lauren (Panella) will be back aboard Mach Beauty this week."
While the step up to 2400 metres is a query, Tritton expects Mach Beauty to be driven in the same aggressive manner.
"The extra trip doesn't worry me, he isn't suited by sitting on the back of the leader because he likes to run along, if he qualified for the Inter Dominion final then we might reconsider our tactics over the 3000 metres but we have to get through the heats first."
"I'm proud to have four horses in the heats, I thought Suave Stuey Lombo was ok the other night, he may have needed to be a bit closer to Mach Beauty in the run but I was happy with him."
Tritton's other two runners are Ardghal and Brave Wiggy.
"Brave Wiggy returned home from Melbourne on Monday, I just want to see how he pulls up from the trip, it was pretty hot but he looks to have handled it ok."
"While I have been in Melbourne I have had great support from Ricky Hunt, my mum and all the team at home."
