What would you consider a very good rewarding average nightly payoff on a winning Superfecta ticket? Would you say $1,000? How about $2,000? Is $3,000 high enough? If you were at here last Thursday night you would have seen all those numbers surpassed.

The average winning Superfecta payout at Maywood Park for Thursday, February 22 was $3,727, and that hard-to-believe figure was for 12 races despite one tiny chalk $158 winning Super on that card.

The box-car gimmick payouts on Thursday nights just keeping rolling in. Here’s a race-by-race run down of last Thursday’s “Super-Duper” payoffs:

Race One -- $1,305.00

Race Two -- $540.20

Race Three -- $2,283.60

Race Four -- $1,314.40

Race Five -- $3,359.80

Race Six -- $8,903.40

Race Seven -- $2,360.80

Race Eight -- $158.80

Race Nine -- $11,820.20

Race Ten -- $5,771.60

Race Eleven -- $372.80

Race Twelve -- $6,531.40

ill there be more of the on tonight’s card? If the first two months of the year form holds true, you can bet on it.
