Freehold, NJ --- JL Cruze, who trotted the first sub-1:50 mile on a mile racetrack last weekend in winning the Graduate Series final in 1:49.4 at the Meadowlands, moved into second place in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll. The 4-year-old male trotter was third in the previous rankings, but jumped ahead of idle trotter Bee A Magician.

Shake It Cerry, a 4-year-old female trotter who was last season’s Trotter of the Year, finished a hard-charging second to JL Cruze in his world-record performance, missing by a nose, and vaulted into the Top 10 at No. 9.

Meadowlands Pace elimination winner Wiggle It Jiggleit remained No. 1 in the rankings. Also moving into the Top 10 was In The Arsenal, who also won a Meadowlands Pace elimination last weekend.

Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
