The long shot at 35/1 Heartbreaker One (3m Alto de Viette) was second for trainer/driver Luc Roelens, with third to 12/1 Hussard du Landret (3m Bird Parker-Anakine du Bellay) handled by trainer/driver Benoit Robin.
Hohneck
The Prix Isara (purse 67,000€, 2850 meters distance handicap) for upper level campaigners saw 25-meter penalized and 6.4/1 odds Anzi des Liards (10g Look de Star-Nausicaa du Sud) rally to win timed in 1.12.7kr for trainer/driver Romain Derieux and owner Richard Padovani.
Anzi won for the 17th time in his storied career for 867,780€ earned. The 1.4/1 Fire Cracker (5g Quaro-Urganza) was second with Eric Raffin up for Ecurie La Pensonniere and trainer Gregory Thorel. Third was 1.5/1 odds Freyja du Pont (5f Quinoa du Gers-Parade du Pont) with trainer Jean Michel Bazire. His trainee Davidson du Pont was unplaced with Franck Ouvrie up.
Anzi des Liards
On October 22 at Cabourg was the Prix de Percy (purse 25,000€, 2050 meters autostart) and even-money favorite Follow Dream (5m Royal Dream-Vita Dream-Password) held gamely to win in 1.13.1kr for Jean Philippe Dubois.
JPHD bred this Philippe Moulin trainee for his Ecurie Victoria Dreams. Follow Dream won for the 11th time in his career now for 120,840€ earned.
On the same card there were two races for two-year olds and Jean Pierre Dubois teamed a pair. He finished third for In America (2m Ready Cash-Nina Madrik-In Love With Me) and second with In Between Us (2f Bold Eagle-Conquete A Deux), both of which he owns.
