Hokio (3m Bolero Love-No Limit Jet-Defi d’Aunou) extended his winning streak to five in the Prix Eurydike (purse 33,000€, 2850 meters, three-year olds) at Paris-Vincennes on Friday evening.

Yoann Lebourgeois was the pilot for trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Mauricette De Sousa. This Ecurie Serge Bernereau bred youngster has now earned 41,850€ in six career starts.

Race time was 1.15.1kr for this 4/10 favorite that defeated 22/1 Hey Quick (3g Up And Quick) for Adrien Lamy and 10/1 odds third finishing Houat de Houelle (3m Unique Quick) with Franck Nivard up for breeder/trainer Franck Leblanc.


The Hokio pedigree follows. Third dam by Speedy Crown produced stakes winning Mambo King (Ganymede-Dan’s Girl), a winner of 349,319€.

Today’s Gr. III Prix Joseph Aveline (purse 55,000€, 2850 meters, four year olds) began the groupe level action this day at Paris Vincennes. Here the 5/10 favorite Ganay de Banville (4m Jasmin de Flore-Anais de Banville) scored for owner/trainer Jean Michel Bazire clocked in 1.13.4kr. 

This was his fifth career victory now for life earnings of 99,130€. 5.6/1 Gondole Jenilou (4f Goetmals Wood-Pirogue Jenilou) was second for reinsman Eric Raffin and breeder/owner/trainer Louis Baudron.
