Horse Racing New Brunswick will be hosting a jam packed, action filled race card on Saturday afternoon in Saint John with a number of attractions.
First and foremost, it's "Bring a Friend" to the races card as part of a national initiative to attract new race fans to the sport of racing and the industry.
Everyone involved in racing is being asked to bring in new people for the first-time and there are a number of attractions.
Among the activities will be a free B.B.Q, face painting, bouncy pony races, a play castle for the children and more. There will also be betting vouchers for new fans who sign-up, draws for rides in the starters gate, and accompany a trainer on a double jog cart.
There will also be a tour of the barn area and the S.J.H.H.A invite fans to stay after the live card for a night of entertainment.
Plus, there will be handicapping tips for newcomers, a planned seminar, and a chance to see California Chrome try and become the first triple crown winner in thirty-five years.
Fans will also have the chance to meet drivers and trainers.
This, and seven thrilling races, the fourth leg of the yearly handicapping challenge, and as always admission and parking are free. Join in the national challenge and bring a friend to the races, Saturday, post-time at 2:00 P.M.
