Owner Jean Charles Belliveau will send two starters to the gate with J Rs Hurricane and stable-mate Sparky Bayama. "Hurricane" has won his last two starts and remains unbeaten in New Brunswick.

Other starters in the top-class are Stare Down ( Mike Downey ), Skippy ( Mark Haig ) and Rose Valley and Mike Campbell.

Meanwhile, driver Todd Trites makes his first appearance at his home track since he recorded his 2,000th career win and will be recognized by Horse Racing New Brunswick on Saturday.
