Last season's top Tasmanian two-year-old harness racing filly Ideal Bliss returned to racing with an effortless win in a 3YO event over 1609 metres in Hobart on Sunday.
With Rohan Hillier in the sulky, the American Ideal filly sped straight to the lead from the pole position and gave noting else a chance as she burst clear of the opposition at the top of the home straight.
She hit the line over five metres clear of Vouvray Beach that enjoyed the cosy one-out-one-back spot throughout while Ideal Karalta scurried home along the sprint lane to grab third two metres away.
Ideal Bliss, prepared at Old Beach by Paul Hill, won three and was place second twice from her five starts last season with her best win recorded in the $20,000 Evicus final in Hobart.
Vouvray Beach was gallant in defeat and no doubt she has more improvement to come as does Ideal Bliss.
