The Pepper Tree Farm New South Wales Breeders Challenge Blue Series finals for two and three year olds at Menangle on Saturday night provided a very timely boost for the Camluck stallion Ifihadyourluck who sired the winners of two of the four finals.
The K Turner trained 3 year old filly Amanda Von burnt the gate from barrier seven and landed the trail behind stablemate Regaltive in her final.
Angled off Regaltive's back just before the turn, Amanda Von streaked away for the biggest and easiest win of her career to date.
It was the fifth lifetime win for the super consistent filly who has also placed 16 times in her 31 starts and took her lifetime earnings to $70,025.
She paced the 2400 meters in a smart 2:55.8, a mile rate of 1:57.9 with closing sectionals of 56.8 and 28.
The Brad Hewitt trained Spare Me Days was even more impressive in the 2 year old colts and geldings division.
Wide from barrier seven for the first 400 meters and parked from there on, Spare My Days spared nothing in the run home, cutting out the last quarter in a sizzling 26.9 on his way to a very impressive win.
It was his fourth career win alongside two placings for this smart colt who was having just his eighth lifetime start and took his stake earnings to $63,000.
Spare Me Days paced the mile in 1:56.2 with the last half in 56.3 and quarter in 26.9.

Camluck, the sire of Ifihadyourluck, has wracked up some amazing numbers in the Northern Hemisphere.
His total stakes won is a mind boggling $196,064,015 along with an amazing 719 in 1:55.
At the age of 26 last season Camluck still served 81 mares.
Ifihadyourluck took a mark of 1:49.4 and $402,325 in stakes in his career on the track.
Standing at Calderwood Farm in New South Wales, Ifihadyourluck had a couple of crops in the fifties early on before the numbers dropped away in his next few crops but his overall record is nothing to be sniffed at as can be seen from the stats below.
Foals - 202
Winners - 74
% winners to foals - 36.63%
Sub 1:58 - 30
Stakes won - $2,150,137
With the breeding season just around the corner, Ifihadyourluck couldn't have two more impressive runners than Amanda Von and Spare Me Days to promote his value as a sire.
The way those two won last night would suggest Ifihadyourluck will serve a much larger book this year than he has in the last few seasons.
