Cagnes sur mer conducted its final trotting card during the winter season at the seaside racetrack last evening.

The featured Grand Prix de Vincennes went to Italy's Pablo di Jesolo and reinsman Roberto Andreghetti. The six year-old son of Daguet Rapide, from Armbro Judy by Speedy Crown, scored in 1.15.2kr over 2925 meters. He defeated the Italian mare No Man's Land teamed by trainer Pipo Gubellini. No Man's Land is entered to race against Mack Grace SM, Linda di Casei and others on March 16 at Padova.

In Belgium, Hippodrome Wallonie (Mons Ghlin) conducted an eight race evening program. Of interest was a win by Angel Dark in the Prix Chanly over 1750 meters autostart.

The four year-old son on Look de Star scored in 1.14.6kr for driver Johanna Lindqvist, his first win in only two starts after qualifying at Grobois. The winner is trained by Anders Lindqvist, who is co-owner with Peter Gerry of Arden Homestead Stable in the USA.

Early morning on Saturday the Australian Trotting Grand Prix took place at Melton and was simulcast on the PMU network. Win-place handle totaled over £80,000 and the win was recorded by New Zealand's Stent, a son of Dream Vacation, reined by Colin Defilippi. Two US bred players were in the field with Myhighexpectations, a son of Ken Warkentin, ending third.
