Trailing by five lengths at the top of the stretch and pinned along the pylons, Isabella's Magic went from worst to first to score a 16-1 upset harness racing victory in Wednesday's (September 12) $22,500 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Pace at The Meadows.

When Dick Stillings finally was able to clear her to the outside, Isabella’s Magic still had to pass seven horses to get the win. The 5-year-old daughter of Blissfull Hall-Follow The Magic did just that, closing in 28 to nose out NY Yankees in 1:52.3. Tremor Hanover finished third.

Ray Simms trains Isabella’s Magic, who now has won three of her last five starts, for owner/breeder William Spotti, Jr.

Brett Miller, Mike Wilder and Brian Zendt each drove three winners on the 15-race card.
