None Bettor A, sent off as the 9-5 favorite, vaulted to the lead from the outside post seven and dictated early splits of :26.4 and :54.3 while in line to George Napolitano Jr. Up the far side, Pat Berry made his move with Jack's Legend N, angling the 6-year-old Bettor's Delight gelding first-over out of third to press a :27 third sectional.
Jack's Legend N worked into a narrow lead midway around the home turn, but None Bettor A refused to give way. The two duelled the length of the home straight, with Jack's Legend N prevailing by a scant neck over the game None Bettor A. Itsrockandroll A (Corey Callahan) lifted down the grandstand side to finish third.
The 20-cent Jackpot Hi-5 was hit for $7,178.06 in the afternoon's fifth race, as one player held the winning 5-2-7-6-4 combination which was keyed by Loud Splash ($10.00, Berry) and absent 5-2 favorite Barbados.
Simon Allard and George Brennan both recorded driving hat tricks on the 14-race program.
Racing returns to Harrah's Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 14); post time is 12:25 p.m. EDT.
