Joe Mazzone gets all his thoughts together on Maywood Park and Balmoral Park racing this weekend Friday and Saturday night by handicapping all the races for you the punter. Detail at its best and no excuses not to make money this weekend.

Maywood Friday, September 12th

1st race

9- Lucky Dawg... Guessing easier company and Oosting will make all the difference.

5- Big City... Likely favorite off the strength of last two over the track including a victory.

6- Son Of Thunder... Shows a nice late move and with a fast pace could be the wildcard.

8- Rum And Cole... Perfect trip winner has to buck the poor post but this field lacks depth.

2nd race

4- Holly Hill Vibrant... Likely added striking range puts him back in the ballgame.

2- KB's On My Toes... Gained an overdue win but barely at 3-5 odds. Has to be sharper.

5- Capture The Magic... Puts a two-race win streak on the line with a little bit better.

6- TJ's Bob C... Drops coming off the vet's list but checks in with decent credentials.

3rd race

6- Mike's Heir... Back in cheap after a tough trip. Really doesn't have an excuse not to win.

5- Perfect Tattler... Closed four-wide to complete the last to first sweep of a field like this.

7- Balin Hanover... Racing competitively with a lot better over at Balmoral. Likes a half.

3- Guest Host... Awoke to win last and should be sitting right off the pace again.

4th race

1- Water Wings... Closed against a strong bias in his last start and now in a spot to upset.

4- Marty Marty Marty... He's your horse if you like three-to-five or less. Moves in.

8- Bolero Artifice... Wouldn't be too quick to dismiss his chances off a big class drop.

3- Boyish Charm... Third or better four of last five but coming off the vet's list.

5th race

2- Tommys King... Didn't have an excuse but reluctant to count him out. No price.

4- Beach Boy Blues... Likely upsetter but may have to grind out a first-over trip to win.

5- Because Of Art... Checks in from Balmoral where he's been keeping better co.

3- Mr Maxwell... Just up off a perfect trip and now has to work harder for an encore.

6th race

1- Celebrity Best... Fresh off a win and claimed. Turns a quick dividend off the big hike.

4- Sandy Seas... New horse raced well in his Maywood bow. Added striking range.

8- Place Of Destiny... Seeks third straight but no gimme from way out here. Vulnerable.

3- Fox Valley Target... Bucks a tough post and field over at Balmoral and moves in here.

7th race

5- Indy Dreamer... Looks hit or miss but will go down winging it here in this softer spot.

2- Bryn Tin Tin... Been getting a lot of play and finally got the job done. Has momentum.

1- Kinnick... Still getting a feel for the oval and with the move back to the rail should improve.

6- McArdle Park... Closed well in a needed start and chance to rally into this at a price.

8th race

1- Rustling Jeff... Powerful winner off the claim and should take this hike in stride too.

9- Wolf Creek Willie... Should be right behind the above and ready to pounce from 2nd tier.

5- Versary N... Bucks the 8-post for a middle of the pack starting point. Can win this.

3- Papa Deck... Coming off the fair circuit and has had success here in the past.

9th race

1- Big Puff Doggie... Miller has two in here and the other one (#3) may be 1-5. Seeking value.

3- Lis Deo... Problematic but a talent nonetheless. Dropping out of the Cane Final at Freehold.

6- Western Leader... Keeps on ducking but one of these nights he'll come out swinging.

7- Hawaiian Rowdy... In fine fettle right now but in a difficult spot to close from last.

10th race

6- Mantana... Chance to get back on track with an easier lead for new driver.

7- Followthefella... Had his streak snapped last time out but does show an excuse.

8- Topville Dynamite... Could go under the radar from here and add some value in Sup High 5.

1- Little Fishy... Benefits from a start and up close to the leaders throughout at a price.

11th race

2- The Panefactor... Sat a rail trip in a fast mile and now it's his turn to call out the tune.

3- Winslow Gambler... Been heavily backed and so far mixed results off the claim.

7- Dade Hall... Checks in from Mich. where he has shown he can handle the smaller oval.

1- Im A Hot Sport... Switch to the rail makes all the difference in the world. Use here.

12th race

2- Ivegotthehotspur... Like his chances a lot off the layoff and from a good post.

3- Olympic Hero... Locked up the two-hole but the leader was better on that night.

5- Pirate Image... Not to be taken lightly off the class drop and solid form for winning barn.

1- Scootin Bayou... Well backed at Hazel Park and now draws the rail in bow for this team.

13th race

1- Snoop Dawg... Needed the start and that Q two back on the lead sticks out for us.

4- Seal Crest Major... Been a dud so far but expect a breakout effort from this better post.

5- Incredible Brando... Likely favorite off strong form but looks beatable in this spot.

6- Heath... Could get a lot of play with adding Oosting. Sure fond of this oval.

14th race

1- Artistic Dreamer... Goes from the 8-post to the rail and that will get it done tonight.

4- Tattler's DJ... Take 12-1 if you can get it coming out of strong Balmoral races.

5- Stoney... Never fired in last start and now Oosting should improve his chances.

8- Larry's Place... Looked good winning from the inside last week. Different story here.

Best Play: IVEGOTTHEHOTSPUR 12th race

Best Value: SNOOP DAWG 13th race
