With Grant Hodges in the sulky, Ken Two Stars settled handy to the lead from a good gate and when Hodges presented the gelding to stake his claim in the home straight he powered to the lead and then staved off determined challenges to go on and score comfortably from Streetside Classic with Goggo Gee Gee storming home along the rails to grab third ahead of Metro Mouse.
Ken Two Stars is trained at Scottsdale by Wayne Campbell who prepared a double courtesy of Grace Campbell scoring an impressive win in the opening race on the seven-event program.
