A scandal which shook Canada almost a year ago has now seen two harness racing drivers exonerated of all race fixing charges at Windsor Raceway and tracks in Michigan. Kevin Wallis of Maidstone and Gene Piroski of Cottam were each fined $100,000 and suspended from driving for 12 and 10 years respectively.

"The Ontario Racing Commission appeals panel cleared Kevin today (Tuesday August 30) in a lengthy, written decision, about 36 pages," Pat Ducharme, the lawyer representing Wallis, said.
