Le Fugueur, with harness racing driver Mike Stevenson in the bike, blasted off the gate to grab the lead and helf off all challengers to win the afternoon feature at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The time of the mile was 1:58.1.
The Jennifer Trainer owned and trained gelding turned away Rebelryan for second while Last Art on Deck, who was parked the entire mile, finished third. That trio set off a triactor worth $605.65.
Dunmore Alpha and driver Mark Cullen won the trot division in 2:02 with a one length score over Katies Victory while Ginternal Revenue took the show spot.
Kenny Arsenault had a driving triple on the program while Mike Stevenson and Jason Hughes recorded driving doubles.
