Its Breeders Crown  semi final time at Ballarat on Saturday and South Australian best 2 & 3 year old  fillies  have both fared badly  in the barrier draw, the Aaron Brown trained Lombo Keepa Secret, who is unbeaten in South Australia since joining Brown’s yard has drawn two on the back line is a strong heat that features star filly and dual Oaks winner Firth, Southern Cross Final winner Getya Wings Out  and Tasmania pair Nola Mayhem and Delightful Christian who has  won on both sides of the Tasman.

Lombo Keepa Secret. a daughter of 2006 Breeders Crown champion Lombo Pocket Watch, has won all five starts for Brown including an effortless victory in the $10,000 BOTRA 3yo fillies final last week, Brown obviously thought his stable star need another run as he fronted at trails Sunday morning with the filly and she was push out by driver Ryan Hryhorec running her last half mile in 59 seconds.
Hryhorec has his star 2 year old  filly Flagbearer engaged in the 2 nd semi-final, but the daughter of  Courage Under Fire has drawn the outside gate but the small field of eight . Flagbearer  who is trained by Hryhorec, has won 6 of her 7 starts with her only  defeat coming when she had gear failure and paced roughly. During her juvenile season Flagbearer has claimed the Southern Cross Final and the BOTRA Nursery Pace last week.
Both fillies will have a strong chance to qualify for the Breeders Crown Final Super Sunday at Melton on August 18th
