The start of a great day of European trotting is underway at Napoli (Italy) with Grand Prix Lotteria Eliminations (each 20,900 euro purse, 1600 meters autostart) on the record with consolation and final to follow.

Elimination #3 went to legendary Commander Crowe (10g Juliano Star-Somack-Mack Lobell) in 1.11.3kr for Franck Nivard. The Commander defeated the great Italian mare Linda di Casei (8f Uronometro-Comtesse Ferm) with Allesandro Gocciadoro aboard and Langdon Griff (8m Varenne-Meadowbranch Nan) ended third.

Elimination #1 went to 43/1 longshot Oibambam Effe(5f Classic Photo-Etna Sec) for Andrea Guzzinati in 1.11.1kr. The pair easily triumphed over Napolean Bar (6m Varenne-Delmazia) and Enrico Bellei with Marlon OM (7g SJs Photo-Zelata OM) third for Roberto Vecchione.

Elimination #2 produced an expected victory for Italy’s top trotter Mack Grace SM (by CCs Chuckie T-Ambro Grace SM-Armbro Goal)) and driver Roberto Andreghetti in a quick 1.10.8kr (fastest of the eliminations). Moses Rob (7g Ganymede-Etoile Rob) was second with Marielles (7f Kick Tail-Egida Play) taking third with Franck Nivard up.

The soon to come final will be worth 300,300 euro.
