Organisers of saddle pace races in China are negotiating to buy New Zealand standardbreds, according to Cambridge harness racing trainer Andrew Neal.

A Chinese race official is working with Neal to finalise deals on eight lower grade pacers. ''He's coming back in two weeks and looking to charter a plane to take 60 back (to China),'' Neal said.
