All Stars has had to give up the unequal battle for race fitness for super talent Luby Lou who is now off to Breckon Farms to produce more in her own image
It is bad luck for the Breckons as Luby Lou only had five starts and won four of them two at Group Level including the Group One New Zealand Trotting Derby beating Winterfell, Majestic Man and Sundee’s Son among others.
She won that by three and a half lengths with five and a half lengths back to the third placegetter Majestic Man in a superlative performance.
The Muscle Hill filly has suffered from knee problems and has had a long and patient buildup. Mark was intially hopeful she had pulled up sound from her workout last week but she again gave cause for concern and as a Group One winner in such rich company offers more at stud now than on the track.
“It was her knees when she was put aside but she pulled up lame behind on Monday."
