The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is asking horsemen to wear yellow or gold on Monday (November 9) in support of Evan Leversage, a 7-year-old boy who is fighting cancer.
Monday's second race has been named the "Evan Leversage - Harness Racing's True Hero" race. A blanket presentation will be made in the winners circle, and horsemen are asked to sign the blanket in the paddock. The blanket will be sent to Evan and his family.
