Scarborough, Maine (Friday, March20, 2015) – In conjunction with the newly created "All Heart Campaign", state of Maine harness racing drivers Eric Davis (left) and Matty Athearn visited children at the Barbara Bush Clinic in the Maine Medical Center today. The duo brought the kids a bit of happiness on this first day of spring while signing autographs on trading cards and handing out harness racing themed coloring books.
The All Heart Campaign is a newly formed grass roots organization, organized by rank-and-file horsemen and women. They have charged themselves with creating a broader connection between the harness racing industry and the local community. The campaign has been enthusiastically joined and supported by Scarborough Downs.
Opening Day of the 2015 season at Scarborough Downs is scheduled for Saturday March 28 with a 4:00 pm (EDT) post time followed up by the popular Sunday matinee set to kick off at 1:30.
