CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - It was all harness racing driver Marc Campbell, all night Saturday at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The 'King' of Island racing took four dashes on the evening as a driver plus a pair of his trainees found the winner's circle with other pilots aboard.

Rose Run Quest dazzled in the $3,100 preferred pace with Brodie MacPhee at the lines of the Campbell trainee, winning in 1:52.1 for owner Blair Hansen of Charlottetown as the pacer preps for next week's The Guardian Gold Cup and Saucer trials. Campbell was driving Time To Dance who finished second while Lisburn (Driven by Kenny Arsenault) was third.

Power Of A Cruiser was another Campbell trained winner in 1:55.3 with Adam Merner in the driver's seat.

Campbell's first driving win came with the Wendy MacRae trained Sports Royalty in 1:56.4 and the Winsloe reinsman followed it up with a 1:56.2 score aboard World Wonder from the Michael Gallant stable. Mayhem Man was a front end victor in race 6 for trainer Jay Noye in 1:56.3.

Freddy Bear put together an incredible mile winning the preferred 2 pace in 1:53.3 for trainer-driver Campbell, pacing his own back half in 55.1.

Live racing continues at the Capital oval Thursday (August 13) for the start of Gold Cup and Saucer week racing.
