El Ringer (Artsplace) won his third open pace of the season on Saturday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. The Margaret Spagnola harness racing trainee rattled off back to back jacks in the $18,500 feature a month ago and on Saturday night, the six year old found his way back to the winner's circle after a front running score that came in 1:52.3.

El Ringer’s regular driver Jay Randall piloted him to his fifth win in thirteen seasonal tries. Saturday’s open marked the return of defending Pacer of the Year Kelly’s Noah (Kim Crawford) who wound up finishing fourth in his first try of 2012.

Longshot Money Twitch A (Bruce Aldrich Jr) ran second while Majo Just Do It (Mark Beckwith) ended up third. El Ringer, who is owned by the House of Cards Racing Stable of Saratoga Springs, was the race’s 7-5 favorite.

Live racing continues on Sunday afternoon with a matinee set to kick off at 12:45pm.
