West Melton trainer Nigel McGrath will be looking for a New Zealand Yearling Sales Series double when he lines up Allura and Sunday Girl in the $175,000 3yo fillies' harness racing feature on Friday night at Addington.

McGrath prepared Classiesistar for an emphatic 6 and ¼ length win in the colts & gelding's version of the race on New Year's Eve and will be looking to repeat the dose this coming Friday night (February 1).

His best chance of doing this looks to be the royally breed Allura, the stunning daughter of Christian Cullen will be having just her third race day start on Friday.

After easily accounting for Rozelski and Pacific Rapture (two of her main rivals on Friday) on debut as a 2yo, Allura was put to pasture after pulling up sore when a beaten favourite (third) in the American Ideal Stakes.

It was found that the daughter of top filly Nevermore was suffering from a hairline fracture, but all seems well in the camp now and Allura is by all reports ''simply flying."

Owner Paul Renwick recently told the Harness Racing Weekly that he turned down a whopping $250,000 for the filly last season. So he will be hoping he is rewarded for some of the faith he has shown in Allura on Friday night.

Without a doubt, the hardest for Allura to beat on Friday look to be the Mark Purdon trained Rozelski and the John Green and Brian Hughes trained Delightful Christian.

Rozelski (Bettor's Delight) was superb when downing Just Gorgeous last week and will be looking to take full advantage of Adore Me's (stable mate) absence. While John Green and Brian Hughes's had a wish granted when noted front runner Delightful Christian drew the ace. The Christian Cullen 3yo filly has been plagued by bad draws recently, and from the ace is likely to try for an all the way win. After the way she won the Harness Jewels from in front, why wouldn't you?

Last season two-year-old filly of the year Onlyforyou is also likely to figure in the finish.
