Burwood Stud's flagship sire Changeover took the siring honours at the Anzac Day meeting at Menangle with a winning double.
Princess Danica, a New Zealand bred three-year-old filly, sprinted brilliantly from midfield to hoist a new lifetime record of 1:52.5, while Motu Gatecrasher NZ took full advantage of a soft trip to post his 16th success and send his stake tally over the $175,000 mark.
The previous night the Changeover mare Kotiro NZ led her rivals a merry dance at Albion Park, stopping the clock in a career-best 1:54.6. It was her fifth lifetime success.
Other recent Changeover winners were the three-year-old Just Ralph (Shepparton), Couldntellya NZ (1:59, Redcliffe) and Final Over NZ (1:59.7, Globe Derby Park).
Changeover has sired 89 individual winners in Australia and NZ this season to date and they have amassed earnings of $1.46 million.
