Christen Me - is Miracle Mile bound!

After discussing the major races with many of the protanganists, local experts and analysing the form himself, Mick Guerin offers us his thoughts on the features for Sunday's bumper harness racing card at Menangle.

A$200,000 NSW Oaks - R3: Rozelski (No.7): Easy heat win here last week and will be glad to be away from Adore Me. She's tends to be a little one-paced but will be handy and can win.

A$200,000 Ladyship Mile - R4: Cheer The Lady (2): She Will improve a lot on last-start fifth and could trail leader so rates as a bolter.Elusive Chick (5): Gutsy run last start and will appreciate hot pace. Will need favours but each way value. Bettor Cover Lover (12): NZ's best mare but draw is a horror. Can still win but $4.50 about her right odds now.

A$200,000 NSW Derby - R5: Bit Of A Legend (4): Huge run here last Saturday and has gate speed to lead and then options. Top pick and will be backable each way.

A$200,000 Chariots Of Fire - R6: Christen Me (4): Is in sensational form and best drawn of the big names. If he leads he should win but is top pick regardless. Jason Rulz (11): An electrifying sit-sprinter but will be giving some exceptional pacers a start. $15 are about his right odds.Smolda (12): Has been massive all season but this draw means he will have to work in what could be a 1:51 mile. He will need to be very special to win.

A$750,000 Interdominion Final - R7: Mah Sish (1): Has improved four lengths over the summer and will relish distance. Hard to catch and huge each-way player. Terror To Love (7): Breathtaking winner of last two NZ Cups and in career best form. Tricky draw but has options and the one to beat. Lincoln Royal (9): Has been under injury cloud, with vet inspection today. Hard enough to win an Interdominion at peak, let alone when you have had issues.

A$200,000 Glenefrrie Farm Challenge - R9: The Fiery Ginga (1): Brave horse who had the gate speed to lead and be hard to catch. Gets his shot at glory. Vulcan (3): Not racing up to last season's form so dramatic improvement needed.Sovereignty (5): Under-rated and could trot wicked mile. Best overs of the entire meeting. Stig (7): True trotting great who looks well. If they burn hard early, which is likely, he could outstay them.My Escapee (9): Freakishly fast but draw a real concern. Key will be if she can settle and get dragged into race on Stig's back. At best, huge hope.
