The harness racing three-year-old Middlepage is proving a splendid advertisement for the McArdle horse Tintin In America, a grand pacer himself and who now stands at Yirribee Pacing Stud, Wagga (NSW).
Middle Page won his third race from his last five starts when he came from last before soundly trouncing his rivals at Gloucester Park on Sunday night (May 10).
The mile rate of 1:55.9 over 1730 metres was almost four seconds inside his previous best.
Tintin In America was also represented by the recent Bathurst winner Bid For Red (1:56.7) and now left 19 individual winners this season in Australia and New Zealand.
Million Dollar Cam left 'new' winners on either side of the country last week in the three-year-old filly Auntie Millie (Bathurst) and the four-year-old Westernhouse (Bunbury).
Nobbys Clock 1:57.6 (by Lombo Pocket Watch) and the three-year-old Kahliadenise Lombo, both bred by Yirribee Pacing Stud, were successful at Wagga and Penrith respectively.
