Talented Waikato pacer Mista Mara will join the Brisbane stables of Brian Manzelmann.
A deal was struck this week after the eight times winner raced at Alexandra Park last week when unplaced behind Elios.
The four-year-old gelding will arrive in time for the up-coming Queensland Winter Carnival which starts officially next month at Albion Park.
Previously prepared by respected horseman Dave Kaa, Mista Mara has raced against elite opposition during his career to date including a placing in the Gr.1 $165,000 New Zealand Sires Stakes Final at Addington behind Franco Nelson and Arden Rooney.
Amongst the beaten brigade that day included well performed and now Australian based pacers Five Card Draw, Supreme Mach, Blazin N Cullen and Mac The Finn.
Earlier this season, Mista Mara was a runner-up behind Arden Rooney in the $50,000 PGG Wrightson Sales Series Pace at Kaikoura.
Mista Mara is eligible for winter carnival features like the Gr.3 $45,000 4 & 5yo Championship plus the Gr.3 $45,000 4yo Championship plus many more.
The Lis Mara – Art Of Perfection gelding will arrive in Brisbane tomorrow (Thursday).
