DOVER, Del. ---- Monochromatic, a 1:50.4 winner two starts back in her last Dover Downs visit, is back meeting five fast females in the $20,000 Filly and Mare Open Handicap on Monday, Dec.9 at Dover Downs. Post time is 4:30 p.m.

Meet leading driver Corey Callahan will drive for trainer Dylan Davis and owners North State Street Stable for outside post 6 in the feature race. Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Steve Iaquinta's Jeremes Sweetheart, reined by Hall of Famer Ron Pierce, second in last week's female feature and Brooke Givens and Steve Head's impressive filly Spend It All, handled by Jim Morand at the controls and KDM Stable's Miss Annie J and Ross Wolfenden, all return from last week's Monday feature.

There are two newcomers to the Open this week. Peter Tritton's San Fran Lady N, a high class import from New Zealand with driver Ross Wolfenden leaving from the rail and Eighthunrdolarbill, a four-year-old driven by Tony Morgan.

The Monday program is loaded with races for female pacers.

Monday through Thursday, post time is 4:30 p.m. There is no live racing on Friday and Saturday. Sunday racing begins at 5:30 p.m.

Simulcasting of harness and thoroughbred racing is available daily from 12 Noon until 12 Midnight. There is no charge for parking and admission. Reservations are suggested for the Winner's Circle Restaurant and for those planning to stay at Dover Downs Hotel. Call 302-674-4600.
