San Fran Lady N goes for her third straight win

DOVER, Del. ---- San Fran Lady N seeks a Third Straight victory in the $20,000 Mares/Handicap pace on Monday, Jan. 13 at Dover Downs. Post time is 4:30 p.m.

Last week, for the second straight time, Tony Morgan drove Peter Tritton's Sam Fran Lady N to victory, first from off the pace and last Monday a front-end win, both in 1:53.3 with time allowances due to weather. Yagonnakissmeornot, driven by Montrell Teague for Ted Gewertz, George Teague and Fannin Racing finished a head back in second last time. North State Street Stable, Monochromatic, with Corey Callahan made her first start in nearly a month and closed to within 1-1/4 lengths of victory.

Timmylynn, owned by Richard Crammer, Black Dog Racing and trainer Bob Reeser, has three wins and a second in his last six, and steps up with Vic Kirby driving. Bob Winkleman's sharp Paradise Lost and Ross Wolfenden leaves from post 1 with newcomer Cooking The Books, Allan Davis driving for Rich Lombardo, Dave Kryway and Seafood Delight Stable, starts alongside.

In the $15,000 4&5-Year-Old Winners-Over sub-feature pace, Brit Evans' Kiss My Yankee (Allan Davis) and Jodi Siamis' Rachelle's Beat -two of the nine starters - look to continue winning ways.

Monday through Thursday racing begins at 4:30 p.m. No racing on Friday and Saturday. Sunday post time is 5:30 p.m.

Simulcasting of harness and thoroughbred racing is available daily from 12 Noon until 12 Midnight. There is no charge for parking and admission. Reservations are suggested for the Winner's Circle Restaurant and for those planning to stay at Dover Downs Hotel. Call 302-674-4600.
