Lyons Josephjnr cleared to the lead in the final quarter and bested his competition by two lengths in 1:54.3 on a very sloppy surface. Completing the race were I Found My Beach, Nathan Feelsgood, Goodnite Goodluck, Hall Of Memories, Forever Good and Kiasma.
Monday's triumph increased Lyons Josephjnr's lifetime win tally to 13 and his earnings to $198,951. He was the race favorite and returned $3.60 to win.

Completing the race were Action-Broadway, Mary's Darvin, Pembroke Snapshot, Sure Thing, Kahoku, Wind Surfer, Hello Carlo and Theraputic.
Rose Run Logan now has 13 career successes and has won seven of eight starts in 2014. Monday's victory pushed his bankroll to $40,198. He paid $5.60 to win.
