Superb monte racing was presented on the last racing program of the winter meet at Paris-Vincennes.

The 120,000e Gr. III International Prix Henri Desmontils went to the popular and consistent 10 year-old mare Quarry Bay with Camille Levesque aboard for breeder/owner Ecurie Pierre Levesque. The daughter of Cygnus d'Odyssee recorded her 18th career win and now has earnings of 1,112,020e.

As the 1.3/1 favorite she defeated the Damien Bonne ridden Rapide du Digeon by two lengths timed in 1.12.8kr over the 2850 meter distance. Remarkably, Quarry Bay's last 13 monte starts since November 22, 2012 have produced five wins, six seconds and one third, all but one of these starts being in in graded races. Mike Lenders trains the winner.

The Gr. II €120,000 Prix Louis le Bourg over 2850 meters, went to 3.6/1 odds A Nous Deux with Nathalie Henry aboard.

She scored in a close battle timed in 1.15.3kr to record her fourth win for 189,250e in lifetime earnings. This four year-old daughter of Goetmals Wood is trained by Ronny Kuiper at Grobois for owned Jean-Pierre Dubois who bred the mare as Ecurie D. Favored Airport (a son of Love You) was second for Eric Raffin at 2/1 for trainer Ake Kristoffersson.

The monte European 85,000e Prix Alencon went to Ukerlza du Benjo as she covered the 2700 meter distance in a sharp 1.13.4kr to record her 10the win, good for 181,070e in career earnings. The six year-old daughter of Blizzard Poterie is owned and trained by Philippe Rouer and scored by three lengths at 2.1/1 odds for jockey Mathieu Mottier. Volcan d'Occagnes ended second for Yohan Lebourgeois.
